This exhibition poster was created as part of a university module where I was tasked with designing an exhibition identity in the style of a given artist – in my case, Yves Klein. Inspired by Klein’s bold use of colour, particularly his signature International Klein Blue, I focused on creating a visual language that reflects his experimental and immersive approach to art. The repeated typography, fluid abstract forms, and striking blue elements echo the energy and simplicity of Klein’s work. The exhibition, titled Your Identity, imagines a collection curated by Klein at Tate Modern, celebrating his exploration of form, body, and colour. This project allowed me to combine layout, type, and visual storytelling to reflect the essence of a highly influential artist. This brief was done as part of one of my first modules at University, whilst I have developed my skills since this, I enjoy looking back from the start of my degree to see where I have developed as a designer.
